I am leaving for my dads, who now lives in Arizona, on the 21st for three weeks. It should be a nice break from the changing weather here in Seattle.
When weather the weather changes my 'points of pain' hurt and ache more, this also occurs when the weather is cold. My 'points of pain' (POP - lol) include my back, specifically my lower back, my hips, and most of my joints.
Imagine a jelly like substance in all of your joints, between the disks in your spine, and covering your skull. This jelly substance liquefies in heat and leaves those areas feeling swollen and achy from the pressure, in cold it turns into a sandpaper like texture and rubs against itself when you move.
Yucky, huh. Yet this is the closest way for me to describe what I feel. In fact, when I imagine the pain this is the imagery I get.

I have finally turned 17, and in just a month and a half all my fiends will start turning 18, one again leaving me behind. BUUUUU!
My birthday was extensive and Fun!! It started Friday night as my friends came over to spend the night. My living room had been turned into a big bed. Two sleeping bags had been unfolded and laid out, covering the floor; Pillows lined the perimeter; and we had lots of blankets. We also had snacks. We spent the whole night chatting and getting our costumes ready for the next day.
In the morning we had a big breakfast of pancakes, sausage, apple juice, and eggs. We then got dressed and ready in our costumes.

And yes I was a guy on my birthday....

We then had our photo shoot, and went to Uwajimaya.
We had loads of fun.
Then we had dinner about 6:30.
And another sleep over, at Akiko's house this time.
(Sorry for the rush ending, I am being harried to finish...)

So I attempted to upload a video, but it failed. BUUUUUU!!!! I am still going to try.
School gets out tomorrow but it is a half day and seeing as I only attend the second half of the day, I get out today!! I hope to ride Ranger today after school, it is sunny!! I am going to hang out with Akiko tonight, so YAY to that as well.
I am going to have Psyc and OC/OT appointments on mondays one after the other, eventually, but for now I only have the Psyc.
This last Saterday I worked at a booth at a festival, in the cold, and have only just recovered today. I was achy all over and constantly tired. I actually pretty much slept all day Sunday.

My mother and I both suffer from intense Migraines. But this scared me to no end. She went to bed with a migraine one night and I was contacted at school (I walked to my school) that my mother was in the hospital. My ex-Step dad had found that she was having memory problems, she was wondering where I was and where my little sister was, she would repeat questions over and over again. She was fine later that day but could not remember certain events that had happened a week ago. I was in sixth grade.
Nearly a year later, I was in middle school (I needed a ride to school) and came up the stairs and found my mother on the couch. I was late and called out to her. She 'mmed?' and I let her know that we need to go, and got no response. I called out again and got another 'hmm' and once again let her know that we needed to leave and got another 'hmm'. This went on for a long time and I finally got my ex-Step dad and he took her to the hospital. This time her recovery took a week. There where times when she would not recognise me, or think that I was still little, or that she was still with my dad, times when I did not exist yet. I helped feed her and tried to answer her questions, I was usually the only one in her room so I did not know how to deal with it.
The good memory I have about that time was the nurses helping me with my health homework.
I get scared every time my mom gets a migraine.

In the case of Fibromyalgia and the flu, I have found that I am not alone. Not allot of people have said that their pain worsens when the get the flu, but there are a few. I have not found any documentation on it so I will keep looking.
I have ridden allot lately as my pain has not been as bad, and I have also been taking more fashion photos and Have started creating clothing out of dry wall tape and duct tape. I will take photos and post them.

I was just on medhelp, asking questions and answering others, and I came across a question about odd bruising she had and asked if it was part of Fibro. I had noticed that no one had answered and so I was going to. Until I thought about it.
The symptoms of Fibro are similar to many other things like Lupus, Lyme disease, and Cancer. And bruises are a part of Cancer. At that point I did not know what I was supposed to do, I wanted to ask, but I was afraid of scaring her. I feel responsible but I am not a doctor. I also don't want to let her question go unanswered. I am confused.

I had the sleep study... and it was odd.
I had arrived and checked in at seven and filled out paperwork. I was then taken back to my room, which resembled a hotel room, except for the cabinet next to the bed was filled with medical jumbo. That and the camera pointed at your bed and the two infrared lights, one that is over your bed. I sat and ate dinner, that I bought, and watched TV until a Technician came in to talk to me about what was going to happen, how many things I was going to have attached to me, and when I wanted to go to bed. she then left to let me get comfy, put my PJ's on and settle in to watch more TV.
About 9:30 she came back and we walked to a room where she would put all the Sticky things on me. First she put a measuring tape to my head and marked certain spots in red. She then scrubbed those spots with desensitize and remarked them. Then out came the little things with wires attached that would be placed on my head, legs and shoulders. First came the wires for my legs. the went down my shirt and pants to the outside of my legs. She then started to apply all of the little node things that would go on my head. To stick them on she used a past based on water, sugar, and salt. It itched. She then gathered the wires and pulled them to the back of my head where she taped them together.
Next came the ones on my face, she pulled those back and taped them as well. I also had one placed under my collarbone on each side. The leg wires and chest wires then also joined the taped wires in the back. Each wire that was attached to me had its own little place in a little box. The box was then placed over my head and I went back to my room.
About 10:50 She came back in to put the nasal piece in, it was a little tickle, and a small tube like piece that went in front of my mouth. She also, after taking the box off, plugged it into something in the cabinet, and put a finger wrap on my right ring finger. Unfortunately the wrap had a bright light that would blind me whenever my hand met my face.
After that the lights were turned off and a few seconds later her voice was coming out of the phone next to the bed, asking me to do things to confirm that not only was I hooked up appropriately and to see how I moved so that the info could be processed correctly.
I went to sleep. And the next morning out from the phone came "MORNING ALEXANDRIA, IT IS 7:00 I WILL BE IN SHORTLY TO TAKE EVERYTHING OFF."
And OW everything did come off.

This is a story I have wrote... not finished... not edited. AT ALL!!!
The sun long gone, the moon well high; letting the branches whipping by become long grasping fingers that ripped cloth, the wind an unseen and incomparable force whipping hair around, and the invisible ground riddled with obstacles and holes causing stumbles and jumps. The groans and creaks of the trees surrounding them, urged the horse onwards in a panic. Its rider lying as low as possible wishing for nothing but for time and speed. The muffled sound of thundering hoofs and the rustling of plants as they past filled the empty forest. And glimpses of moonlighted silver flashed through the trees. Breaking from the forestry the full moon burst fully upon the horse and rider.
The sight one to behold, as the perfect pair stormed across the field: She, dressed in a torn and bloodied silver gown, a sword at her hip and her hair in disarray as it came down from what was once a beautiful chignon lined with pearls, her feet bare in the silver stirrups, scratches and cuts lined unprotected skin. He, bred for royalty, his well formed muscles bunching and releasing beneath a black sweat matted coat, his powerful hooves pounding the earth as he raced against time. Together they headed for a distant tower, their only hope. As they past the tower, she slowed her horse to a stop and turning around she looked towards the forest, her mind at war. She steeled her nerves, wheeled her horse around and raced on, to what she could only hope was a warm welcome, followed with food, bed, and protection.
A few miles from her destination her horse could run no further, and she dropped to his side and continued walking on. Her mind wondered at the actions that had occurred earlier that night, the horror that her birthday party had ended in. It was to be a grand affair, as it was her sixteenth and her father, King Deon the First, invited many royal guests. Princes from neighboring kingdoms danced with her, and the princesses gossiped, while lords and ladies had congratulated her and gathered amongst themselves. Everything had been bright and cheerful, her older brother Prince Deon the Second, whom she wonderfully admired and greatly loved, had swirled her around his friends and guests and had been proudly proclaiming her as his sister.
And as he gracefully led her to the thrones for the royal speech, screams tore the air and blood seemed to fly everywhere. In an instant the sounds of screams, swords being drawn and met as men charged the ballroom one after the other. After being pushed around and tugged in other directions, she had found herself pressed against a wall watching. Her attention had quickly been turned from one body to another. She had stared naming them as if in a trance: Nichole, her mom’s lady in waiting. Sara, the princess of Mendalic. Ferendic, he had taught her to use a sword. Tomula, he usually ended up chasing her around the castle when she was little. Seredata, Princess of Kindell. Hontel, Prince of Grountel. Brena, daughter of Nichole. Her mother and her father were the last she had seen, her attention had turned to the man advancing towards her. Looking around quickly she had grabbed a sword from a form she recognized as Gilbert, her schoolmaster.
With a cry to fight on, she parried and slashed at her attacker. Hearing her cry, the mass had fought back gallantly. Slowly she cut down one after another, backing up the stairs to the dais. She had slashed yet another when she felt herself being pulled away. She fought to be released, struggling heavily against her captor, his voice and words not reaching her. The figure had spun her around and her eyes had come to rest on a familiar face. All the fight had drained from her and she leaned into her brother, pale and shaking. He had quickly dragged her away through hallways, down stairs, and in emergency passages that winded under ground. It was dark and damp. A musty smell attacked her nose, and caused her eyes to water. She tripped on roots and rocks. Sighing as they finally cleared the dark and damp passage, amongst forestry and a group of her brother’s friends.
She remembered mounting one of the horses that where at the ready, and riding off in the center of the group. How Glenendor, the son of The Duke of Kindell, held a bleeding wound on his hip. How Sien, the second prince of Grountel and Hontels little brother, rode with red sword in hand. How the group split, heading for different countries. How her brother and her long time crushes’ brother Andreo, The Prince and heir of Kindell, had smelled and looked as they hugged her. How Andreo had given her the royal pendent of Kindell, for a hopefully safe passage. She remembered the pain she felt in her heart as she headed her horse towards Kindell without them.
She pulled to a stop as the sound of hooves came from the road before her. She stood her ground and raised her head defiantly. Six men dressed in the colors of Kindell and bearing the royal symbol, riding tall muscular horses, pulled to a halt in surprise. Eyebrows furrowed the Captain call out:
‘Who comes?’
She replied with a hand on her sword and another grasping the horse as if to be ready to mount.
‘Princess Lea of Chearona, and she humbly asks for protection and an audience with the great King of Kindell’
They looked startled for a second, then seeing as it seemed serious; they asked her to remount, as they would take her strait there. Yet not a few moments later the horses began to get nervous and exited, and the sound of pounding hooves sounded from the path behind them. Wheeling her horse around, she drew her sword, her new guards quickly followed suit. Four masses of hot sweat muscles bounded over the hill, eyes rolling back and agape mouths flicking flecks of foam everywhere, their rider’s swords were drawn and they where red faced, looking like hot blooded demons. Roaring out orders as the demonic riders closed in, the captain urged her down the path telling two of his men to guide her.
Then once again horse and rider were galloping at a breakneck pace, a horse in front and another behind. Once again racing away, she leaned down low against his sweaty neck and into his long mane, slowly she drifted in and out of consciousness. She was barley aware when they had arrived at the large gates, large hands gently pulling her of her horse as they cut the part of his mane that her fingers where tangled in, the murmurs as she was carried into the castle, her head bobbing and her hand hanging limp. She heard urgent voices calling to one another, some booming out hurting her ears. She felt some one try to rouse her barking out questions she desperately tried to understand, and then all gave away to peace.
Deaths stench plagued her in her dreams. She twisted against them but found herself unable to leave the terror behind. It seemed as if every time she struggled to the surface of awakening, she was pulled into the depths of the nightmare. All around her mutalated bodies stared at her, their glazed eyes seemed to plead with her, as if they where trapped in their cold lifeless bodies, pleading her to free them. Yet she was unable to move twordes any of them, just turning in cercils looking at them, unable to turn her eyes away. Around and around over and over, just looking, nothing more.
The sun long gone, the moon well high; letting the branches whipping by become long grasping fingers that ripped cloth, the wind an unseen and incomparable force whipping hair around, and the invisible ground riddled with obstacles and holes causing stumbles and jumps.

I have not been able to blogg recently as, not only did I no longer have a working computer, I have been exponentially worse. A few weeks ago, just before I went to bed, I started to lose feeling in my entire right side. Then later that night I woke up with violent twitches, I waited to see if they would stop but found them becoming more and more like spasms. At one point my top half had bounced off the bed twice and each time I was air born I was spasming. That was the worst that night but it was a little to much for me.
I went to the doctor the next day and went through a series of tests. I was unable to use my right side normally to the extent that I could hardly walk. This concerning my doctor, along with the fact that I was still twitching. We had arrived at the end of the work hours and we stayed with her long after. It was nerve wracking, even more so that she had nurses contact other doctors, after their work hours, to talk about if I should head to the hospital. Fortunately I did not. But I did have an MRI scheduled for the next day. Which came out clean.
I now have infrequent spasms or twitches, and my doctor suggested that I drink Tonic Water for the quinine in it. The Quinine would help stop them.

On a happier side of things I visited my dad, who now lives in Arizona, and had an amazing five-hour shopping trip with my step mom. I also am going to enter in a photo/fashion contest, I am nervous, so cheer me on!!
Cheers to Doctors that have pow-wows together to find out whats wrong.

I am tapering off of the Anti-Depressants, Fluoxetine, and I am glad. The first few weeks I had taken the stuff, at 10mg, I felt a little better. I was then on 20mg and found my self better than I had been in a long time. Unfortunately the effect had worn off, so they upped it to 30mg then 40mg. Two weeks after I started the 40 I started feeling worse, depressed, but not suicidal.
I have pin pointed three main pain points: my lower back, my head, and my middle back just under my shoulder blades. And now for each I have something that I can use to help. For my back I use a hot bath in Epsom salts, scented is good aroma therapy, and the jets on. For my head I have been using, ha ha, Head ON Migraine.
My sleeping has not improved, and I notice myself fighting to stay awake after activities more often. I also have been more nauseous and my thinking process is more fogged. Overall everything is worse, hopefully with the change in medication I will start to feel better overall.
Cheers to stopping Meds

I feel worse than I did yesterday, my sinuses are stuffed and causing my already pained and fogged head to be even worse. If I could I would use a Neti-Pot. Unfortunatly, the one we did have was plastic and so my mom threw it out. Plastic + Hot water + Up the nose = not-sure-but-not-good-stuff. For those who don't know what a neti pot is, I have supplied a website.

Right now, I feel like I don't exist. Pain so intense my body blanks out everything, I am pretty sure it's not a good thing.
I can't even describe it right.
I took a bath last night at came up with a song. I hope to get it situated so I can post it. It was written with my Fibro in mind.
I intend to take another one tonight. We will see what happens.
I LOVE HEATING PADS. They are my life savers, the heat helps immensely. Though my butt hurts from sitting all the time.

Lately I have been feeling, to put it plainly, like shit. It started Tuesday night, with a painstaking headache and intense back pain, after that I don't remember much, other than be incredibly tired and in pain. It seemed like the more brain power I used the more my head would hurt. The pain had gotten so bad that my only option was to drown it out. For hours I was sitting by the computer, but I was still walking and stretching. The bottom line is, I DON'T FEEL GOOD.
But I don't want to talk about just me this time, as it is always good to think of others and thier needs. My mom is the woman of White Center For The Arts, she is the one who toils countless hours on trying to bring the organization to life. She has organized 'Rat City Rummage', Art gatherings, and the art walks that have brought a multitude of people to White Center.
WCFTA's goal right now is to open up a non-profit coffee shop. The coffee shop would provide a few jobs, serve as a gallery/hang out space, and eventually Classes in varying art forms. To make one thing clear, the money made would not go to my mom, but to WCFTA itself. The money would help supply the Classes and the Coffee.
Unfortunatly, WCFTA needs help raising money to be able to start. They need donations, and by donations I mean ANY amount. From five to ten dollors, everything counts. Plus It is tax deductable. To donate go to:

I am a member of medhelp.com, and am going to try to keep it constantly updated. I find it very helpful. It has charts for menstrual cycles, moods, weight, and my meals and food. I can now keep track of those things for my doctor much easier, as I my memory of such things is practically non-existent.

On another note, I wore myself out over the weekend and crashed on Tuesday. Friday night I spent the night at my friends, then Saturday I was part of an intensive study group. We stayed up drinking tea and soda, taking half hour naps, and continuous studying. Sunday I worked in our house, we have moved, as well as on Monday.
So Monday night I had a headache that frightened me. I could have sworn that my brain was being pulled apart. The next morning I couldn't stand strait, walk strait, or even think strait. I was REALLY tired. Today I have slight aftereffects but am able to function much better.
Cheers!

I haven't been typing lately, and it is not because I am moping. The truth is that I have not only been busy, but very LAZY. I have been to Dr. Tuman (?) again and now have a appointment at the sleep study clinic, for my sleep issues, and with a specialised psychiatrist, for my fears. I have also started going to a alternative school, trying to work my way up to a normal life style.
I have been reading up on sleep studies to prepare myself on what I should expect from my doctors and what might happen. It also will help me mentally prepare, so I don't spaz to much before my appointment. I have found a cool website that describes what the study is and what happens during it.

I have yet to find a website on Fibromylgia that I can read all the way through. I anyone finds one let me know.
